Curragh Newsletter

Since our last newsletter a lot has been happening in the Curragh Sub Aqua Club. After a wonderful summer's diving in Ireland a number of groups have been travelling to all parts of the world to get in some warm water diving. The AGM was held in October and a new committee was elected. Elena Coyle has been busy recruiting and training the juniors in Newtown Park Avenue and has a great bunch of kids turning up every Sunday evening for snorkel training.

A bunch of new trainees have been training every Thursday evening in Glenalbyn under the supervision of Niall Stapleton and Shane Tyrrell. We are hoping for more recruits to start in January, so if you know of anyone who always wanted to learn to dive but didn't know how, just send them along to Niall and Shane on Thursday, they will gladly take on suitable candidates up until middle to end of January.

The club website is online for the benefit of all members and contains information on Weekends away, training courses, gear for sale, etc...
