• End of Spring hired Dive pool in National Aquatic Centre had hosted a mini Gala where we invited other snorkelers from Hardwick St., Dublin.

2. Elena attended the Snorkel camp this year for a week in July in Bundoran where stayed in Donegal Adventure Centre; Also, 1 Senior grade attended

3. Snorkel Dive leader Training weekend in Curragh clubhouse, August, with 8 Curragh Seniors and 10 others from various clubs Naas, Kildare, North Dublin, Omagh, Down, Sligo who had been at Snorkel cap. Excellent weekend and really opened up further opportunities for Senior grade snorkelers to progress their training. Night snorkels and early morning swims and assisted Dublin City Council Snorkel for Fun programme in National Aquatic Centre.

4. Grades attained this year in Junior Section: 12 Junior, 10 Intermediate and 11 Senior, including 1 adult; There were also 10 certificates of attendance for 10 six/seven year olds.

5. Currently: started back in pool 26th September and have over 50 attending so are not advertising this year! We have some volunteers but since Elena has moved to Westmeath, need more assistance so offer your services please.

6. Junior section is important to the club in that we are laying groundwork for potential diver interest but also very importantly in the service provided to the local community. Currently have about 10 Senior grade teenagers eager to learn more and some already have dived, intend to do some try-a-dives with these. Need more diver input as you are the people to pass on your experience and expertise!

7. Received a grant from the VEC and we are buying hats for UW rugby and hockey which both Juniors and divers can use.

8. Big huge Thank you to all those who have helped over the past year with this growing task- thanks for all helpers at the pool, open water and bringing boats, I really appreciate your help and couldn’t have done it without you.
