Welcome the May-September 2005 Newsletter
It has been a very active summer this year for
the Divers of the Curragh Sub Aqua Club. We have had very enjoyable
weekends away to Belmullet, Achill, Pol 'O Thomas, Kilkee, a week
away to Inishbofin and Burtonport. Luckily I don't need to give
a big intro for this newsletter as the committee have all been
working hard on their reports and you will get the details of
the diving, money, qualifications and social from their reports.
Apart from the committee's reports, in this edition
we have another article from the archives courtesy of Mick Moriarty's
rummage though the annals of the CFT head quarters in Dun Laoghaire.
Peadar has supplied us with some great photos from the weekends
away, Mick O'Loughlin yet again is dazzling us with some more
stunning photos of the underwater world, this time it's Grand
Turk. Liam Mooney our non-diving scribe has given us his account
of Inishbofin this summer. Mick Schutz has supplied us with a
teaser of a quiz, see if you can come up with the items in the
correct order. Thankfully we have so many articles for this edition
of the newsletter you are once again spared an article on the
trials and tribulations of a leading diver candidate - maybe next
year!!
