Equipment Officer's Report

A lot of effort and money has been spent this year so far on keeping the club's equipment in good working order.

Here is a brief summary of the main items either repaired or purchased.

Boats

Lencraft

Northcraft

Engine Serviced Engine serviced 3 times
Trailer Serviced New submergable pump
New spare wheel for trailer Seats reupholstered
GPS Replaced Electrical switch repaired
  A frame repaired
  New winch for trailer
  Brake system repaired on trailor

Mark II

Futura

Irreparable Keel replaced

Boat boxes

All boat boxes have been updated with new flares, plugs and tools.

Fuel Tanks

New petrol tanks have been bought as well as new connectors for tanks to the engine.

Safety

O2 Kits have been serviced and two new space blankets bought for the first aid kit.

Compressors

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The portable compressors have been services by Bauer and the engines have been serviced by Honda.

The speed of the club compressor has been adjusted.

Still to do

(as Bertie would say - a lot done - a lot more to do)

New dry box to be bought for the O2 kit.

Compressors to be services again.

Bearings to be repaired on the Lencraft.

Three engines to be winterised (i.e. drained and flushed).

Lencraft needs antifungal treatment.

Moorings to be re-done in Coal Harbour.

Northcraft and some smaller engines to be sold off and a new Lencraft to be bought.
